The good: this is a lab created diamond at a fair price. A natural diamond with the same quality would be at least 2x and possibly 3x as expensive. The setting is 14k gold, open back and the stone really sparkles. The drop on the bail is long which makes the stone look bigger than it is. .25 looks more like .3 with this type of setting. The bad: the chain is not real gold and super flimsy. I bought a studier 14k gold chain to put the pendant on. Overall this is a very pretty pendant which I feel is worth the price but get a new chain.

Lab diamond jewelry is like natural diamond jewelry, except it is created in a lab instead of mined. It has the same chemical and physical properties, fire, scintillation, and sparkle.

Avoid exposing your jewelry to harsh chemicals, and occasionally clean it with a soft cloth. You can take it off while gardening or playing sports. You can also soak it in mild dish soap to clean it completely. The best way would be to send it to a professional once a year for cleaning.
The strength and durability of natural diamonds and lab diamonds are the same. This means that lab diamonds will also last forever. They do not degrade over time. Pass it down generations without a sweat!
When buying a diamond, natural or lab-grown, most follow the 4Cs — carat, cut, clarity, and color. While carat and cut are subjective, you can look for clarity and color. Clarity is measured by Flawless (FL) or Internally Flawless (IF) to Included (I1, I2, and I3). The clearer the diamond, the purer it is. When you look at color, the general rule is the more colorless it is, the better. D, E, F (colorless), G, H, I, J (nearly colorless), K, L, M (faint color), N-R (very light) to S-Z (light color) are the ranges.
